We are open term time only. Children must be 2½ years old to attend.
Funding is available for children over 3 years old for 4 sessions.
Cylch Meithrin Pencader is a Welsh medium playschool and is a self funded organisation and registered charity based at Ysgol Cae’r Felin, Pencader.
An excellant facility for pre-school children including those that will not go on to attend Ysgol Cae’r Felin.
We encourage learning through play to ensure that your child is stimulated and makes discoveries to ensure a smooth introduction to the school environment.
The Meithrin follows the ‘Foundation Phase’ which is to provide a rounded appraoch to the education of young children and covers 7 key areas:
- Language, Literacy and Communication
- Personal and Social Development
- Mathematical Development
- Knowledge and Understanding of the World
- Physical Development
- Creative Development
- Well-Being and Cultural Diversity
This gives children an excellent foundation before leaving the Meithrin to embark on their journey through school.
